We love the old army fatigue cargo pants, but try and cut them into shorts and they just don’t do the job.

The Fulton short is our version of what a fatigue cargo short should look like.  We eliminated the hand pockets to trim the length, giving a size 32 a 6.5" inseam.

We used a Bedford Corduroy which softens nicely and wears in great. At the waist, we added internal nylon webbing with a cam buckle to eliminate the need for a belt and give a more athletic fit. Behind the cargo pockets are large, deep pockets that have amazed us on how much you can fill them with. 

This is our everyday summer short.
